The Bridging the Gap Foundation began in March 2020 with a mission to make mental health treatment options accessible to underserved individuals and families. This is accomplished through community education and collaboration with culturally competent therapists.

The Mardi Gras Masquerade Gala is the major fundraiser for the Bridging the Gap Foundation with its aim to increase awareness of the disparities in accessing mental health resources in communities of color and to unmask the stigmas associated with mental health. 

This Gala, packed with New Orleans Mardi Gras flavor has been bringing supporters together since 2022! The very first Gala had 145 attendees with tickets selling out in 9 days!
